All of our 4 Color/Full Color printed products must be designed in "CMYK Color Mode" with the "Resolution" or "DPI" set at NO LESS than "300 DPI". All files must have 1/4 Inch Margins and 1/8 Inch Bleeds, for example, business cards are 2x3.5 inches when cut and finished, your file size must be 2.25x3.75 inches with all text and pertinent objects 1/4 of an inch from the outer edges of the design and your background colors and/or images must bleed off the file, do not fill the outer edges with a white, black, or any other colored border just to make up the difference in the file size, colored borders are not bleeds.
See Samples On RightThese images are not scaled to size, they are only for reference and an attempt to help show those who do not understand what bleeds and margins are. You MUST keep ALL text, images, & objects inside of the "RED" lines as in image #1. The area between the "RED" & "WHITE" lines is considered the "Safety Area" and the area outside of the "WHITE" lines will be cut off, but you still must make your artwork go to that outer edge. Image #2 basically shows you what has been trimmed from your original file.
